French giants Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt's center-back Willian Pacho, according to media reports, initially broken by Sky TV. The transfer fee for the Ecuadorian international is said to be around €45 million, including potential bonuses.

The 22-year-old joined Frankfurt from Belgian club Royal Antwerp last summer and is contracted until 2028. He recently represented Ecuador at the Copa América, where they lost to Argentina in the quarterfinals.

In exchange, Konstantinos Koulierakis from PAOK Thessaloniki is reportedly set to join Frankfurt, while Philipp Max is said to be leaving for Panathinaikos Athens, with a reported transfer fee of €1 million.

The EU Regulation might require specific guidelines for the transfer, considering the Commission shall adopt implementing acts laying down the rules for the application of this Regulation. If the transfer of Willian Pacho from Eintracht Frankfurt to Paris Saint-Germain indeed materializes, these implementing acts could potentially impact the financial aspects of the deal.
