Protests before Till Lindemann's performance in Düsseldorf
The solo performance by Rammstein lead singer Till Lindemann in Düsseldorf was accompanied by protests on Friday evening. According to the police, around 150 people took part in a demonstration. According to a spokesperson for the authorities, there were "no special incidents". Lindemann made a guest appearance with his solo album "Zunge".
The 60-year-old has been at the center of accusations in recent months, which he has denied. The Berlin public prosecutor's office had dropped its investigation into the rock star.
The band Rammstein had asked fans not to take part in prejudgements. There have already been small protests at recent concerts on the Rammstein tour. On Thursday evening, around 600 people protested against Lindemann's concert in Leipzig.
People rallied against Till Lindemann's solo performance, expressing their views through music-related demonstrations. Despite the presence of protests, the evening's events proceeded without any significant incidents.
