Professional soccer player Diawusie dead at 25
The 25-year-old professional soccer player Agyemang Diawusie has died. This was confirmed on Tuesday evening by SSV Jahn Regensburg following information from personal sources. Diawusie died of natural causes.
Diawusie had been playing for the club again since the summer, where he had also trained in the youth department. As a professional, he also played for RB Leipzig, SV Wehen Wiesbaden, FC Ingolstadt, Dynamo Dresden, SpVgg Bayreuth and for one season at SV Ried in Austria. He has made twelve appearances in the 3rd division this season and was not in the squad for the top match against Dresden on Sunday.
Diawusie's soccer career included a stint in the 3rd league with FC Ingolstadt. Before his passing, he had made twelve appearances in this league this season.
