Remove illegal content on Del profile - Professional ice hockey player Preto joins Ingolstadt team.
Twenty-three-year-old Philipp Preto, previously playing for Vice Champions Fischtown Penguins, has signed a one-year contract with ERC Ingolstadt in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL). The Bavarians officially declared on Tuesday their new addition to the team.
Preto had reached the final with Fischtown Penguins in the recently concluded season - his first complete one in the DEL. Now, he looks ahead to seizing the chance for his next career move in Ingolstadt. "Young players are given plenty of trust here, receive ample ice time, and can develop terrifically well," he shared in Friday's statement.
Preto hails from Speyer and began his career in Adler Mannheim's youth program. In the 2023/24 season, he then made his way to Bremerhaven.
