Further probes into potential collaborators of the presumed "Reichsbürger" Heinrich XIII. Prinz Reuß are being conducted on Wednesday. Police are particularly focused on discoveries made during raids in Bad Teinach-Zavelstein and Althengstett (both located in the Calw district), including whether unlawful firearms were among the taken items. Though the Federal Prosecutor's Office is unlikely to reveal specifics about these findings.

Karlsruhe officials contend that two defendants assisted a domestic terrorist organization. A 73-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman are implicated for offering accommodations in Saxony for recruitment gatherings for the terrorist organization involving Prinz Reuß at the turn of 2021/2022. The woman is additionally charged with loaning a vehicle to one of the purported organizers, Rüdiger v. P., in autumn 2021.

Consequently, the Federal Prosecutor's Office had inspected seven locations and three properties in Baden-Württemberg, Saxony, and Schleswig-Holstein on Tuesday. No arrests were immediately made. The process carried out smoothly.

Ongoing trials

These "Reichsbürger" in Germany assert that the German Reich (1871-1945) is still extant. The Federal Republic and its laws deny their existence.

The faction around Prinz Reuß gained prominence following a significant anti-terror operation at the conclusion of 2022. Various individuals have been arrested since then in relation to this. The accused are alleged to have sought to destabilize Germany's political system. They were prepared to suffer casualties, as mentioned in the indictment.

At Germany's Higher Regional Courts in Frankfurt and Stuttgart, cases are currently active concerning this matter. In Frankfurt, where the supposed group leaders are being prosecuted, police are due to testify about Prinz Reuß, a Frankfurt entrepreneur declared as a primary instigator.

In Stuttgart, where the so-called military faction is on trial, investigations concentrate on the search in Reutlingen, during which law enforcement was fired upon. Also, an accused individual could elaborate on Prinz Reuß. A trial is scheduled to commence on June 18 in Munich against further suspected sympathizers.
