Pool operators unhappy with the weather
The mixed "swinging weather" has so far also resulted in a "mixed picture and a large range in visitor numbers" among municipal pool operators, a spokesperson for the Association of Municipal Enterprises (VKU) told dpa. In some cases, visitor numbers were down by up to 50 percent compared to 2023 in June.
The Association of Municipal Enterprises acknowledged that the mixed weather has led to varying visitor numbers among pool operators, with some experiencing a decrease of up to 50% compared to 2023 in June. This situation has left some pool operators feeling unsatisfied.
The Commission, responsible for regulating swimming fees, is currently considering implementing measures to mitigate the financial impact of the weather on pool operators in Hesse.
