Glasner, ex-coach of Wolfsburg, is keen on acquiring Maxence Lacroix, the VfL defender, for Crystal Palace in the EPL, as per numerous sources.

The 24-year-old French chap is tied to Wolfsburg until June 2025, but he's expressing a desire to jump ship this summer. Lacroix has turned down a proposal to prolong his contract with the Bundesliga side. VfL would prefer to keep the defender, but they can only secure a transfer fee for him this year.

Glasner spent time in Wolfsburg from 2019 to 2021 and took charge of Crystal Palace last February. The London club is scrambling for defensive reinforcements, as Danish international Joachim Andersen is reportedly heading to FC Fulham, and English Euro contestant Marc Guehi is attracting interest from Newcastle United. It's said that Lacroix is Glasner's top pick.

VfL Wolfsburg is currently trying to keep Maxence Lacroix, despite his expressed desire to leave this summer, as the defender has turned down an offer to extend his contract with the club. Glasner, the former coach of VfL Wolfsburg and current manager of Crystal Palace, is reportedly interested in acquiring Lacroix for his EPL team.
