Frozen puck game - Preto transfers from Bremerhaven to Ingolstadt
ERC Ingolstadt lands DEL defender Philipp Preto from Vice Champion Fischtown Penguins. The 23-year-old has signed a one-season contract with the team, according to a recent announcement.
In Preto's first season in the DEL, the Fischtown Penguins made it to the finals, but he's now eyeing the next step in his career with the Eagles. The young talent believes young players often get trust, ample ice time and derive great potential for development at Ingolstadt.
Preto, hailing from Speyer, initially played for the Adler Mannheim youth system and played his first game in the DEL for the Kurpfalzer. After a season with Bremerhaven, he now joins Ingolstadt.
