Wolfsburg is hosting the 260th meeting of the Presidium of the Lower Saxony Association of Cities and Towns. On the agenda are issues such as refugee accommodation, the implementation of the legal entitlement to all-day care and the future of the Deutschlandticket, according to the Wolfsburg administration. Afterwards (1 p.m.), Wolfsburg's Lord Mayor Dennis Weilmann (CDU) and Salzgitter's Lord Mayor Frank Klingebiel (also CDU), as President of the Association of Cities and Towns, will explain the committee's demands.
