Following his impressive performance in the friendly game against Canada, Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong has been lauded by all. Dutch coach Ronald Koeman stated, "I can't ask for more from Jeremie." Frimpong, who is a winger for the German champions, scored the second goal of the hosts himself and assisted Memphis Depay in the first goal.

Koeman had earlier hesitated to use Frimpong for the team but after this excellent performance in his second game, the Leverkusener is on the verge of regular appearances for the Dutch national team. Frimpong said, "It was a great game. I'm delighted about my first assist and my first goal in the national team." Frimpong further added, "But that's just the beginning, it's just the preparation for the Euros."

The Dutch team will play their first game against Poland on June 16 in Hamburg.Other opponents in the tough group D are France and Austria.
