Hettstedt: Latest Developments and News - Powered excavator with trapped operator in the cabin.

A digger operator found himself trapped in his cab by Hettstedt after accidentally hitting a power line with the machine's arm. The Halle police station reported on Sunday that due to the live wire, the man was unable to leave his cab. Thankfully, a worker for the local power company turned off the power, thus allowing the man to safely exit the digger. The digger's operator had been engaged in excavation work at Großörner on Saturday afternoon, we are informed.
