- Potsdam Castle Night - Colorful activities on 120 hectares
For two evenings, the Park Sanssouci will resonate and shine for thousands of people each Friday and Saturday (from 5:00 PM). For the "Potsdam Castle Night," visitors can expect numerous concerts, readings, acrobatics shows, tours, and light installations.
On the 120-hectare festival grounds, renowned actress Katharina Thalbach will read spooky stories, a falconry show will take place in the park, and gardeners and shepherds of the park will share their work. The event ends both days at 11:30 PM. Children under 13 have free admission. Organizers recommend bringing a small folding chair and sturdy footwear - "it can be quite a walk."
During the "Potsdam Castle Night," visitors might utilize their free time to attend various shows and activities, such as the falconry show or the acrobatics performances. After an exhilarating day filled with events, families with children under 13 can enjoy their free time further, knowing that entry to the event is complimentary for them.
