Post to have less time pressure when delivering letters
According to a bill proposed by the Federal Ministry of Economics, the postal service is to be given more time to deliver letters. The majority of consignments are to arrive on the third working day after posting at the latest and not on the first, as is currently the case.
The postal service's expanded delivery time could potentially enhance its overall effectiveness in providing Services. Under this new regulation, postal services may no longer be required to deliver letters on the first working day after posting, but rather within three working days.
