Mysterious assailants are believed to have verbally assaulted and physically harmed a male pair at a subway station in Berlin. The 30-year-old man and his 28-year-old partner were standing at Treptower Park S-Bahn station towards the start of Saturday morning, as per authorities. The couple's display of affection sparked inquiry from a trio of strangers, who subsequently unleashed hostile words targeting their sexual orientation and race. One of the offenders is also accused of striking the 30-year-old man in his face with his fist. After committing these acts, the group swiftly disappeared. Authorities are currently taking steps to uncover the identities of the perpetrators.

The Berlin Police department is urging witnesses or anyone with information to come forward, as the assault on the 30-year-old man and his partner at Treptower Park S-Bahn station is being investigated as a possible hate crime. Police patrols have increased their presence in and around Treptower Park to prevent any further incidents.
