Shift poker game - "Positive beginning": Heidenheim appears calm.

The chief executive of 1. FC Heidenheim, Holger Sanwald, stays relaxed about the potential departure of vital players like Tim Kleindienst and Jan-Niklas Beste, both contracted with the Swabian Bundesliga squad. Speaking to SWR, the 57-year-old said: "If these players wish to depart, it's conditionally possible if the economic aspects are also beneficial for us. Otherwise, no transfers will occur."

Heidenheim, the promotion team that rocketed to eighth place in the prior season and can now participate in the Conference League playoffs, features midfielder Beste and striker Kleindienst among its strongest players. It's logical that this might have triggered interest, according to Sanwald. "However, we're starting on a solid footing ahead of what could be a lengthy and undoubtedly heated transfer market."

The signings of Léo Scienza from SSV Ulm and Maximilian Breunig from the second squad of SC Freiburg highlight Heidenheim's preference for its established transfer strategy. "This is our style," shared Sanwald. "It continues: We concentrate on gifted, eager players and our head coach Frank Schmidt, who has consistently demonstrated his outstanding capacity to enhance these players and forge a successful team from them."

Scienza is moving from SSV Ulm to the Ostalb, and Breunig is joining from the second unit of SC Freiburg.
