Port develops into a popular destination for jazz artists worldwide.

The port of Hamburg will serve as the center for jazz enthusiasts for two consecutive days as the Elbjazz festival hosts various musicians representing diverse styles.

During the Elbjazz music event, held in various locations like Elbphilharmonie, Blohm+Voss shipyard, and St. Katharinenkirche, you'll experience jazz and other genres along the Elbe River from Friday afternoon to Sunday. Some of the performers scheduled on Friday are Jungle, The Streets, Martin Kohlstedt, Scott Hamilton, and Asaf Avidan. Saturday will showcase Faithless, Badbadnotgood, Belle & Sebastian, Alice Phoebe Lou, and Patrice. The festival offers diverse music styles, ranging from Afro-Beats to Scandinavian pop, Italian-inspired piano melodies to German funk rhythms.

Elbjazz is renowned as one of Europe's most renowned jazz festivals. Besides concerts, other attractions like family instrument workshops, tech tours, a saxophone workshop, and a Sunday service at St. Katharinenkirche post-festival will enhance your experience. Last year, organisers recorded a staggering attendance of more than 20,000 visitors.
