Pop star Roland Kaiser gets own stamps
The brands have a face value of one Euro and will be available starting Saturday through the internet or by phone. The image of the 72-year-old is not shown. Living people are not allowed to be depicted on stamps, as the Post explained. Exceptions are only the Federal President and the Pope.
Kaiser stated: "As a former telegram messenger in my younger years, I would have never believed that I would be granted the great honor, on the occasion of my 50th stage anniversary, to receive a special stamp of the German Post."
Roland Kaiser, a renowned show business star, will be celebrated with a special stamp issued by German Post AG. The unveiling of the stamp will occur in Bonn, a city known for its historical significance. Despite living in the modern era, Kaiser shared an interesting anecdote from his past as a telegram messenger. The stunning announcement came as a surprise, as show business stars and living individuals are typically not featured on stamps, with exceptions only for the Federal President and the Pope. Interestingly, Kaiser will join this exclusive list, marking a significant milestone in his career, which will be commemorated during the theatre anniversary.
