Political gatherings - Poll Reveals Schwesig and Holm as Top Recognized Politicians in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
The leader of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Manuela Schwesig, happens to be the most famous politician in the area, as per a study conducted by Insa Consulere on behalf of the "Schweriner Volkszeitung" (SVZ). The news outlet reported yesterday that Schwesig, a part of the SPD, was recognized by an impressive 95% of the survey's participants. Following her was the chair of the AfD, Leif-Erik Holm, who was recognized by 77% of the survey respondents in the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern region. In third place was the leader of the Left Party's state parliamentary group, Jeannine Rösler, who was recognized by 61% of the 1,000 interviewees.
These same participants were then asked to assess the performance of these politicians on a scale from 0 (very poor) to 10 (excellent). Schwesig took the lead with 52.5 out of 100 points. Holm, the AfD member, ended up last with a mere 37.9 points. The CDU's parliamentary group leader in the local parliament, Daniel Peters, secured the second-highest score at 45.1 points. The head of the Green parliamentary group, Harald Terpe, ranked third.
