Hamburg-Billsted - Police task force arrests dealers
Police in Hamburg-Billstedt have arrested a suspected drug dealer with drugs in his luggage. The man was carrying 80 grams of heroin and around 25 grams of cocaine, the police announced on Wednesday. The officers also confiscated over 900 euros and a cell phone.
Plainclothes police officers from the "Task Force for Combating Drugs" had reportedly observed the 36-year-old making contact with drug users on Tuesday and arrested him as a result. He was initially taken to a remand prison. There was also suspicion that he was staying in Germany illegally. According to their own statements, the officers checked a total of 135 people on the day and issued around 30 criminal charges.
