The police pulled over a driver in Südhessen who was driving with a blood alcohol level of just under 5.0 permille. The woman had attracted the attention of another driver on Saturday evening due to her uncertain driving behavior in the industrial area of Weiterstadt (Landkreis Darmstadt-Dieburg), according to police. The officers stopped the car a short time later on the A5 at Griesheim and checked the 37-year-old driver.

A voluntary breath alcohol test showed a value of 4.85 permille, according to the police. The officers secured the woman's driver's license. In addition, a blood draw was ordered and a report was filed.

The incident occurred in Southern Hesse, specifically in the Landkreis Darmstadt-Dieburg. The woman's reckless driving was noticed on a Saturday evening in the industrial area of Weiterstadt. Despite the subsequent traffic stop by the police in Griesheim, the impact of alcohol was still evident in her driving behavior.
