Stuttgart - Police searching for possibly armed man

The police in Stuttgart deployed a large number of officers to the Katharinenhospital on Friday. They were looking for a man who was possibly armed. The suspect had been reported by employees of the hospital, a police spokesman said. It was a major operation. In some cases, heavily armed police officers were deployed. There were currently no indications of a dangerous situation at the hospital, it was said at around midday. The population is also not currently at risk. The police searched the greater Stuttgart area on Friday afternoon, also using a police helicopter.
