After the discovery of a body in an office building in the heart of Schweinfurt, the police cannot rule out foul play. A special investigation commission has been set up, as announced by the police. The homicide department and the public prosecutor's office are investigating "openly".

On Thursday, officers searched the area around the building complex for traces and evidence. No details about possible findings were initially provided.

Workers discovered the dead 45-year-old in the building on July 23. According to the police, external injuries were found during the autopsy. For tactical investigation reasons, the investigators did not provide further details about the cause of death.

The victim was from Bavaria, as revealed during the initial investigation. Despite the autopsy results, the exact location within Bavaria remains undisclosed by the investigators.
