Car - Police operation: Tuning meeting with thousands of participants
After a tuning meeting in Rosenheim with around 3000 participants, several vehicles were seized. In addition, proceedings were initiated against nine people because they had illegal pyrotechnics with them, some of which were set off, as the police announced on Sunday.
Two officers were reportedly slightly injured at the meeting on Saturday with blast trauma caused by fireworks being set off. Proceedings were initiated against one man for dangerous bodily harm.
According to the police, the scene meeting began in the Traunstein area and then moved on to the district of Rosenheim. The focal point was the parking lot of a shopping center. The number of participants reportedly increased there and the atmosphere became increasingly heated towards the emergency services. After being ordered to leave the area, the officers cleared the area, it was reported. The investigation is still ongoing.
