Ludwigshafen - Police operation due to family dispute at funeral

At a funeral in Ludwigshafen-Oggersheim cemetery, two mourning families got into a fight. At one point, up to 30 people were involved in the loud argument on Saturday, the police in Ludwigshafam announced on Sunday. The police intervened with strong forces and separated the parties. There were various insults and bodily harm inflicted between the families. All those involved were issued dispersal orders, the police added. The reason for the fight was initially unknown.

The dispute at the funeral in Ludwigshafen-Oggersheim cemetery required a significant police operation from the Ludwigshafen authorities. This incident took place in the Rhineland-Palatinate region. After the separation, both families returned to their residences in Ludwigshafen.
