Chemnitz - Police officers rescue ducklings from the A72

Two policemen have reunited an duck family rescued from Autobahn 72 in Chemnitz. According to the police statement on Friday, two ducklings were picked up from the roadway on Thursday. Since there was no trace of the rest of the family, the officers began a search - they eventually saw the duck mother with three more ducklings crossing the median strip diagonally over the road to a green area. The police then reunited the family there.

The officers mentioned that they had encountered several other emergencies involving animals on the roads of Saxony recently. To avoid any potential accidents, they urged drivers to be extra cautious during their commute.
