After that, a 47-year-old man was taken into custody by the cops. The spokesperson mentioned that the vehicle was initially stolen in Thuringia. The officer who got hurt had to retire from his job and receive medical attention.

Not long after, cops from Saxony and Brandenburg pulled over another vehicle at the Cottbus-West autobahn off-ramp. This car was reported stolen in Hesse earlier. They apprehended the 16-year-old driver. Both cars are now secure. The spokesperson is looking into the potential link between these two events.
