Ulm - Police officer insulted after ticket check

A 15-year-old boy is said to have insulted and attacked a police officer after he traveled to Ulm Central Station without a ticket and was checked. According to the Federal Police on Wednesday morning, the 15-year-old was allegedly traveling in a group with four other passengers on an ICE train from Munich to Ulm the day before. During a check, they allegedly refused to show their tickets or IDs. The federal police were then informed and were waiting at Ulm main station. There, one of the young people fled unsuccessfully. Later, the 15-year-old is said to have abused or insulted police officers. He is also said to have tried to hit a 50-year-old officer in the face with his fist. The teenager was handed over to the youth welfare office.
