A 36-year-old man in Essen has been seriously injured after a knife attack, prompting the police to launch a murder investigation. On Sunday evening at around 8:20 pm, the man was walking down the street with a friend (31) when they got into an argument with two other men. Things escalated, and during a fight, one of the men stabbed the 36-year-old in his upper body. The assailants then fled the scene. The injured man is currently recuperating in the hospital, and according to the latest update from the police, he is stable and out of danger. Authorities are currently searching for witnesses to help track down the perpetrators.
