- Police find numerous violations in car-poaching

Within two weeks, the police conducted checks on 30 alleged car tuners and posers in Fellbach (Rems-Murr district) on two evenings, resulting in 20 offenses. Nine vehicles were found to have expired registration, along with three noise violations, two significant speeding offenses and drunk driving incidents, and one instance of passing on the right. Additionally, a red light violation and a mobile phone offense were recorded.

The police warned that reckless driving, such as unnecessary noise during acceleration or playing with the accelerator at a red light, can double the fine. This could result in administrative fees of around 200 euros.

Transport and telecommunications play a crucial role in informing the public about traffic regulations and ensuring safer roads. Improper use of mobile phones while driving, as highlighted in the recent checks, falls under this category and can lead to fines and administrative penalties.
