Police officers have found around half a million euros in the suitcase of a passenger on a train in Lower Bavaria. The owner of the suitcase told the officers during the check in Vilshofen an der Donau (Passau district) that he was on his way to Austria, the police announced on Thursday....

Passenger - Police find half a million euros in suitcase on train

In coordination with the Public Prosecutor's Office in Passau, the border police officers seized the money on a Wednesday. An investigation is being conducted due to suspected money laundering. The 22-year-old owner of the suitcase was released again.
