Police find almost two kilograms of drugs on 40-year-old man
The police have found almost two kilograms of drugs in the possession of a suspected dealer in Giessen. These included high-dose ecstasy pills, which could be life-threatening for users, the police announced on Friday. Investigators found hundreds of such pills, several hundred grams of cannabis, cocaine, amphetamine and MDMA in the 40-year-old's apartment. Knives and cash were also seized during the search last Thursday. The 40-year-old was remanded in custody on suspicion of drug trafficking.
The suspected drug trafficker's crimes extend beyond Giessen, as investigations reveal links to the drug trade in Central Hessia. The large-scale drug operation in Central Hessia poses serious threats to public safety.
