Raids in Bavaria and Hungary have led investigators to find several kilos of drugs. According to the Hungarian police, a 60-year-old is suspected of organizing illegal drug transports to Germany and Hungary.

The Hungarian authorities have been investigating the Hungarian suspect for several months. As he is said to have a secondary residence in Aschaffenburg in Lower Franconia, the police in Würzburg and the Aschaffenburg public prosecutor's office also initiated investigations against the suspect.

At the end of July, the 60-year-old was arrested in Hungary. Officers of the German and Hungarian police then searched several apartments of the man in both countries. In doing so, the investigators found almost six kilos of drugs. Most of it consisted of the new substances 3- and 4-CMC. In addition, the investigators reportedly also secured amphetamines and cocaine, as well as IT equipment and cash.

A Hungarian investigating judge ordered the 60-year-old to be held in custody after his arrest. In the course of the proceedings, two other persons were also provisionally arrested on suspicion of drug possession. The police did not provide any further details about them.

The suspect's secondary residence in Aschaffenburg, Germany, is located in the region of Lower Franconia. The seized drugs during the raids in Hungary and Germany mainly included new substances 3- and 4-CMC, as well as amphetamines and cocaine.
