Augustan city in Germany - Police escorted a groom through a CSD parade.

Two police officers biked alongside a groom and his vehicle while in transit through the Augsburg Christopher Street Day (CSD) parade. The man had parked his car in the city center on Saturday, but when he attempted to resume his trip, the region had already been cordoned off due to the gay gathering and he was unable to advance to make it to his wedding in Munich. "The wedding could've fallen apart! The groom was incredibly anxious over being late for the wedding," the Schwaben Nord police station announced on Monday. The communication squad of the station then deliberated and decided to "lead the distressed groom through the closed off area as part of a 'bike escort,'" ensuring his timely arrival for his vows.
