Police Conduct Raid in Three Federally Governed Regions Near Suspected Reichsbürger Members

Reportedly, a male and a female are under investigation for organizing recruitment gatherings for a certain group in Saxony in late 2022 or early 2023. The female suspect is said to have given her car to the purported leader of the group, Rüdiger von P.

More than 700 police officers from the Federal Criminal Police Office, Federal Police, and local police departments collaborated on this massive operation. The authorities involved specialized units like the Explosive Ordinance Disposal team in Baden-Württemberg and the Technical Relief Organization in Saxony.

Recently, two cases involving alleged members of the group have been taken up in the Higher Regional Courts of Frankfurt am Main and Stuttgart. Within the next two weeks, a third case will commence in Munich. Initially, news about the raid was shared by "Spiegel".

  2. In response to this widespread operation, various federal states, including Saxony, Baden-Württemberg, and potentially others, have been threatened with legal action from the Office of the Attorney General for their alleged involvement in the group's activities.
  3. Despite these ongoing developments, it is important to note that many residents of these federal states, such as those in Baden-Württemberg known for their eco-conscious initiatives, strongly oppose the extremist views and anti-environmental attitudes espoused by certain members of the Reichsbürger group.

  5. In light of these recent Raids and legal proceedings, members of the Reichsbürger group in other federal states, like Saxony, may now be more cautious about organizing events or recruiting new members, potentially leading to a reduction in their overall influence and power.
