Western Pomerania-Greifswald - Police collect waste paper container for investigation
Contrary to a corresponding announcement by the district, no waste paper and glass containers have been stolen in Pasewalk. Instead, they were picked up in the course of a search investigation, the police announced on Tuesday.
On Monday, the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald had reported the alleged theft of four containers, which could only be accomplished with a crane or similar. A report was also filed.
The police have now announced that the containers were taken away without the owners having been informed in good time. They asked for apologies. The containers are now back in their original location.
A police spokeswoman did not say on Tuesday what investigations were involved. Last week, an 18-year-old woman was found dead in Pasewalk. The police are investigating a homicide and have arrested a 20-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman.
