Police collect forgotten bag: With marijuana inside
A bag containing 16 grams of marijuana was discovered by federal police officers following a tip-off from the owner. The 19-year-old suspect had left his laptop bag at a bus station in Oldenburg on Sunday and asked the officers to collect it for him, police said on Monday. "We then searched the bag so that we could later check whether it really belonged to the caller," explained a police spokesperson.
In addition to the marijuana, the officers also discovered cannabis seeds in the bag. The man was therefore charged with a violation of the Narcotics Act. He picked up his bag in the evening.
The discovery of marijuana and cannabis seeds in the bag led to the man's charge under the Narcotics Act, as a result of his involvement in drug-related activities. The police found considerable evidence of crime linked to drugs in the bag they collected for the suspect.
