- Police checks in Hanover for several days

In Hannover, during multi-day traffic controls, officers discovered a loaded firearm and drugs. Several individuals were arrested and outstanding warrants were executed, as reported by the Hannover police.

From Friday to Sunday, officers, along with colleagues from other agencies, various federal states, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, conducted joint patrols as part of an international exchange of experiences. They stopped and checked hundreds of drivers.

The police initiated numerous criminal and administrative proceedings. Drivers were reported for being under the influence of alcohol, cannabis, or cocaine. Others were driving without a license, without insurance, or speeding.

In one car, officers found a loaded gun under the backseat, along with a large sum of cash. The items were seized, and the three occupants of the vehicle were taken to the station.

The cooperation between local officers and their counterparts from other agencies led to the successful execution of numerous criminal and administrative proceedings during the international patrols. This cooperation was instrumental in apprehending individuals with outstanding warrants and confiscating contraband such as a loaded firearm and drugs.
