Traffic - Police catch two courier drivers without a driver's license
Police in Lauenburg pulled two courier drivers without a driver's license off the road on Tuesday. The officers first noticed a van whose driver and co-driver quickly swapped places before the check, the police announced on Tuesday. The reason for this became clear during the subsequent check: The 20-year-old from the district of Lüneburg did not have a valid driver's license. About an hour later, the officers stopped another van whose 20-year-old driver from Ostholstein had a forged driver's license.
According to the police, both drivers now have to answer for suspicion of driving without a license. The man from Ostholstein is also being investigated on suspicion of forgery.
