Two police officers were lightly injured in an accident while on duty in the night. As the police reported, they were traveling with lights and sirens in Hofheim am Taunus (Main-Taunus district). The patrol car skidded off the road on a wet surface in a curve and collided with a concrete pillar and a telecommunications distribution box. Both police officers were released after outpatient medical treatment but were unable to continue their service. The damage to the patrol car was estimated at around 25,000 euros, with an additional 5,000 euros of damage to the distribution box.
