Use - Police called to bank branch
The Berlin police were called to an operation at a bank branch in Friedrichshagen on Saturday. According to a spokesperson, a man had "entrenched" himself in the vestibule of the branch for reasons as yet unknown. The police were on the scene with a special task force. An ATM is said to have been damaged. No further information was available this afternoon. The incident is said to have taken place around lunchtime; later in the afternoon, the police said that the operation was over.

The incident in Friedrichshagen seems to be an instance of criminality, as the police were called to handle it. Given Berlin's history, one can't help but think of past bank heists or altogether different types of criminal activities that have occurred in this city.
