Multiple train routes were disrupted by flooding, leading to overcrowding at Regensburg's main station. The federal police had to evacuate three trains due to their full capacity. Initially, they rescued 80 passengers from a train traveling from Passau to Hamburg-Altona on Monday. Later that day, they saved 90 people from two trains on the Regensburg-Munich route. Eventually, they aided 250 people from the trains. The unaffected passengers could carry on with their trips.

The evacuations at Regensburg's central station were a result of emergencies caused by the flood. The unexpected situation led to cancellations of several railroad routes in Bavaria's OBERPFALZ region. The eviction from heavily crowded trains was necessitated by the failure to accommodate all passengers safely. During the storm, the police played a crucial role in ensuring the safety of passengers, saving a total of 360 individuals. Despite the chaos, some passengers were able to continue their journeys on unaffected railroad lines. The weather conditions in Regensburg had caused significant disruptions, but the city and its central station would require extensive repairs to fully restore service.
