Narcotics - Police arrest suspected drug dealers

After months of investigations in the drug scene, police in Lower Saxony and Hamburg have arrested six suspected members of a drug dealing gang. During searches in their environment, drugs, cash, and valuable items were secured, the police announced on Saturday. Four of the six arrested individuals were taken into custody on Saturday.

The investigators stopped an car with two suspected gang members on a procurement errand in Hamburg-Neuenfelde on Friday. They found over half a kilogram of cocaine in the car. Subsequently, officers raided four search targets in Stade. There, they secured further drugs, several thousand Euros in cash, cars, jewelry worth several thousand Euros, data carriers, as well as typical packaging material.

The investigations against a total of seven men aged between 23 and 46 have been running since March 2024, according to the police - due to the suspicion of dealing in large quantities of narcotics. The group could be proven to have been involved in the trade of several kilograms of cocaine, it was stated.

  2. The police found a kilogram and a half of cocaine in the car during the stop in Hamburg-Neuenfelde.
  3. Following the arrests in Lower Saxony, the police also conducted searches in the Stade area.
  4. During the searches in Stade, the police found more drugs, cash, luxury cars, jewelry, and data carriers.
