The police raided a lab in Bonn where they suspect synthetic drugs were being produced. On Friday, they arrested five men aged between 24 and 31 on the property.
During the operation on Thursday, a large quantity of chemical liquids and equipment were found in a building in Bonn-Dransdorf. The liquids were stored in numerous barrels and containers. The building, a bunker-like complex with two basements, was seized.
The property owner was not present. During a search of her residence, more suspicious liquids were found, according to the statement.
The police also conducted a search at the property owner's residence to gather more evidence. The presence of these suspicious liquids at both locations strengthens their suspicion towards the five arrested men.
