A body was found under a bridge in Bayreuth on Friday and the police have now announced new insights into the cause of death.

After the discovery of a body near a bridge in Bayreuth, experts conducted an autopsy. The investigation revealed that the young man died from a medical emergency, police said. There is no indication that anyone else is responsible for the 28-year-old's death.

On Monday, passersby alerted the emergency services after finding a lifeless person in the area of the bridge that crosses the Red Main. A doctor confirmed that the man was already dead. Initially, it was unclear how the man had died.

Following the discovery of the lifeless person, the emergency services were immediately notified and dispatched to the scene. Despite the doctor's efforts, the young man could not be revived, making it clear that the cause of death was indeed a medical emergency.
