Police are investigating arson-related fires.

In the region of Hanover, a large fire occurred. Two residents were precautionarily taken to the hospital. Further investigations led to a suspicion by the investigators.

After the major fire in Wunstorf (Region Hannover), the police are investigating suspicions of arson. Following investigations by fire investigators, the suspicion was confirmed, as the police announced. The approximately 800 square meter building was completely destroyed in the fire on Sunday. Two residents were taken to the hospital as a precaution. According to the police, parts of the house were demolished to contain the fire. The estimated property damage is around 1.5 million euros. The police are appealing for information from the public.
