Polar Bears sign winger for one month initially
The Eisbären Berlin have responded to their personnel problems by signing 28-year-old Jaedon Descheneau for an initial four weeks. After that, the capital city club, which has recently suffered three consecutive defeats in the German Ice Hockey League, will decide on a permanent contract.
"We will keep a close eye on Jaedon in the coming weeks," announced sporting director Stéphane Richer in a statement on Wednesday. Descheneau has played in Switzerland and Sweden as well as in the DEL for Düsseldorfer EG. Most recently, the winger from Canada played for SaiPa Lappeenranta in Finland.
The addition of Jaedon Descheneau to Eisbären Berlin's roster could potentially boost their ice hockey performances, given his previous experience in Switzerland, Sweden, and Germany. Despite being Polar Bears Berlin's latest signing, there's been no mention of him playing against Polar Bears, as this term is more commonly associated with polar bears in their natural habitat rather than in the context of ice hockey teams.
