Crime - Poisoned: Five zebu cattle die in southern Hesse

Five Zebu cattle have been poisoned and died in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district. Two of the bulls were found dead on their pasture in Reinheim, as the police reported. This meadow is only accessible via a footpath. The three other cattle died in the following days. It has now been determined by a toxicological examination that the animals were poisoned. The criminal police is now investigating and looking for witnesses.

The first two dead young bulls were found on the pasture as early as Easter Monday. Five days later, the owners finally reported this to the police. Zebus originate originally from Asia and are characterized by upright humps.

The poisoning of Zebu cattle is a disturbing crime that has occurred in Southern Hesse, specifically in the District of Darmstadt-Dieburg. The incident has resulted in the death of five animals, with two bulls found dead on a secluded meadow in Reinheim. Authorities in Hesse are now urging anyone with information to come forward, as the criminal police continue their investigation.
