sweltering temperatures - Pleasant weather in Lower Saxony and Bremen
In the night after Sunday, the weather in Lower Saxony and Bremen changes. A high pressure system causes a summery week start, temperatures are rising, said a meteorologist from the German Weather Service (DWD). Rain is not to be expected before midweek.
On Monday night, it will be clear, fog is possible. With minimum temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees, it will be chilly inland, while it is warmer on the islands with temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees. On Monday, there are still some clouds in the north, the fog is slowly clearing up. In the south of the country, the meteorologist expects a lot of sunshine, temperatures rising to 25 to 27 degrees, at the Elbe and the coasts to 21 to 24 degrees.
On Tuesday night, it is mostly clear, the minimum temperatures are in the Wendland and at the Elbe at 8 to 9 degrees, in Grafschaft Bentheim at 13 to 14 degrees, and up to 17 degrees on the islands. Tuesday will be a day with a lot of sunshine and only a few cloud formations. Inland temperatures will rise to 25 to 30 degrees, at the coasts to 23 to 25 degrees.
On Wednesday night, it is mostly clear, temperatures drop to 11 to 16 degrees inland and around 18 degrees at the coasts. Wednesday will first be warm and summery with temperatures of 26 to 31 degrees inland and 22 to 25 degrees at the coasts. However, the meteorologist expects a weather change with thunderstorms and significantly lower temperatures.
In this change of weather in Lower Saxony and Bremen, the German Weather Service (DWD) predicts a rise in temperatures, with meteorologists noting that Hannover could experience temperatures similar to those along the Elbe coast. Despite the sunny forecast for many parts of the country, rain is predicted to arrive in Lower Saxony and Bremen by midweek. On Tuesday night, the minimum temperature at the Elbe is expected to be quite chilly.
