Hanover Regional Court - Pleas expected in trial for killing of four-year-old boy
The pleas in the trial for the violent death of four-year-old Fabian in Barsinghausen are expected on Tuesday (9.00 a.m.). The 29-year-old mother of the boy and her partner are in the dock at Hanover District Court. According to the court, they are accused of cruel murder with base motives, in the case of the mother by omission. The 34-year-old German-Polish man is said to have attacked the child with a meat tenderizer with full force in his apartment at the beginning of January. This was preceded by months of abuse. The Polish woman is said to have carried her severely injured son into the children's room, where he died the following night.
