Basketball Bundesliga - Playmaker Gray joins Heidelberg basketball team

Joshia Gray has joined the German Basketball League club MLP Academics Heidelberg. The 30-year-old American has signed a contract until the end of this season, as the club announced on Monday. "We are very happy to have Josh as our new point guard. He brings a lot of experience and should lead our team," said Sporting Director Alex Vogel about the successor to Mike McGuirl, who left Heidelberg for Hapoel Haifa. "We believe that he fits very well into our system with his style of play and will give us a boost." Gray is set to make his debut on December 16 in the away game at leaders Niners Chemnitz.
